SOMATIC THERAPY
We have been born into this body and this is the vehicle for our soul and spirit on this earthly plane.
This body, your body offers the portal to enter into the full potential of the human experience.
My desire is to support Woman in creating more capacity to be with life as it unfolds in its many ways.
This is very basic and fundamental but it can be once this capacity increases then a woman starts to thrive and from the increased capacity, the inner landscape of her life can be explored.
Even so I’m a confidante with expertise in the field of sexuality and intimacy,
in these sessions I’m working with women holistically;
all aspects of life are touched by the way a woman lives her intimacy,
by how much permission there is for aliveness to circulate through her being.
My approach
Sessions are online or in person.
My approach in these sessions is to work through the body, through tracking what sensations arise in the body as difficulties are shared and inquired into.
Held energies from past experiences can be accessed and released in a safe way without overwhelming the client.
I bring in part dialogue, some gestalt and embodiment practices.
For the in-person sessions I also bring in physical touch where needed and agreed upon. It can be beneficial to be supported through finely attuned and grounding touch in helping the integration of the process.
I’m a shiatsu therapist with training in touch for trauma.
The first session with me is 1.5hrs, in this way we can get to know each other and I can hear from you about relevant aspects of your past and present and what brought you to seek therapy in this moment of your life.
The following sessions are 1hr unless arranged differently.
